Our experts provided a new roof and gutter system for a long-term care facility for Maine’s veterans.

Project Overview

When Cianbro & Maine Veterans Homes needed a roof for their Augusta facility, they counted on the expertise of Industrial Roofing Company. This project used 106,100 square feet of shingles, 17,900 square feet of Soffit and Fascia work, and 30,400 square feet of EPDM roofing to cover the two-story, 179,475-square-foot, 138-bed senior living complex built by Cianbro.

Roofing

A .060 EPDM roofing membrane was chosen for its durability and proven performance. This system included tapered insulation for improved drainage, and in some areas we installed 2’x2’ concrete roof deck pavers with adjustable pedestals. This offers an open space for the occupants to use and enjoy the view.

Gutter System

CertainTeed Landmark algae-resistant shingles with Englert B4000 Soffit Panels and a seamless gutter system provide weather-proofing and water control.
